    Häfele developed the Varianta HC for lightweight panels with a top layer of 4 mm and above. The screw absorbs high pressure, pull-out force and shearing force, and leads the force off into the top layer.

    The special thread design of the Varianta HC cuts into the top layer over a wide area, ensuring that the screw is securely anchored in the top layer.

    The Varianta HC can be used independently of the thickness of the lightweight panel, and is used like a conventional chipboard screw.
